About Crossroads

We are a family friendly, small-town Baptist church, at the crossroads/intersection between Azle, Weatherford and 1886.  You’ll find a welcoming family atmosphere and preaching from the Bible.  Crossroads is a spiritual community of born-again believers, ministering unselfishly for our Lord Jesus Christ.  Our worship is for Him, our service is to others, and our example is the servant leadership of Christ Himself.  Come, see what we have to offer.

We welcome anyone who is needing/wanting to be a part of a caring church family, who wants to help us grow as a church body, work and be of service with us to our local community.

Some of our yearly and past activities have been collecting filled boxes of goodies for Operation Christmas Child, yearly Vacation Bible School and at times we put together a Fall Festival for the community. Also, retreats for both the men and the women separately have been successful.  Every Wednesday we have a free meal and a Bible study to all who show up.  We are reading through the Bible and are just finishing the book of Exodus.

We believe in the power of prayer.  Pray often, pray hard, pray long, pray as if your life depends on it!  We believe in the power of prayer for deliverance, healing, and miracles. God hears and answers our prayers.  No matter how trivial or unimportant it may seem, God is ready to help you. He knows your every need and He will meet it.

“Prayer should not be regarded as a duty which must be performed, but rather as a privilege to be enjoyed, a rare delight that is always revealing some new beauty.”  E.M. Bounds

On the most elementary level, you do not have to go to church to be a Christian. You do not have to go home to be married either. But in both cases, if you do not, you will have a very poor relationship.”              R. Kent Hughes

If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though they do not know it, they are guilty and will be held responsible.
